Malawian musician Temwah has been awarded the Rising Star of the Year at the Zikomo Africa Awards held in South Africa on the night of November 30, 2024.

This marks Temwah’s first international accolade, highlighting her dedication and talent and the artist  described the award as a testament to self-belief and hard work.

Her manager, Temwani Jeffrey, expressed delight, saying the recognition would inspire more young women in Malawi to pursue music and other creative arts.

The Zikomo Africa Awards aim to celebrate and promote various talents across the African continent.
