A misunderstanding has erupted at Kamuzu International Airport in Lilongwe involving passengers of Malawi Airlines flight ET 43, which traveled from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, to Lilongwe.

The passengers discovered upon arrival in Lilongwe that their luggage had been left behind. Reports indicate that the issue arose because the flight made a stop in Blantyre to pick up additional passengers bound for Lilongwe.

Although no official explanation has been given regarding why the luggage was left, passengers are being asked to sign documents confirming that their belongings were left behind but would be delivered later.

The incident has angered many passengers, who expressed disappointment that they were not informed of the situation when their luggage was offloaded.
