Information reaching this publication indicates that four Malawians have been killed in Johannesburg, South Africa following yesterday’s violent attacks between Malawians and Ethiopians living in that country.
According to sources, a Malawian was allegedly stabbed to death by an Ethiopian, a development which sparked outrage from the Malawian community in Johannesburg.
Following the violence that ensued, three more Malawians are said to have been shot dead by South African police as the cops tried to contain the situation, according to our sources.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has since launched an investigation on the matter.
