According to the minister, the review will include stringent measures aimed at stabilizing the nation’s economy.
Economic experts anticipate that the budget review will address Malawi’s persistent fiscal challenges, particularly the issue of excessive government spending surpassing revenue, which has plunged the nation into significant debt.
The review was initially scheduled for last week but was postponed to incorporate key points from President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s recent address to the nation.
