Gunmen killed Bright Ezechukwu less than 24 hours before his wedding in Ihiala, Anambra State.

On November 22, 2024, Bright went to pick up his fiancée, Chinwendu, with his best man and the chief bridesmaid.

The wedding was scheduled for the following day, November 23, 2024.

As Bright and the others were heading back to Uli, the gunmen attacked and shot Bright dead.

Bright had stopped at Ezego junction to fuel his motorcycle when the attackers struck.

The gunmen, riding a motorcycle, took all of Bright’s belongings, including his phone, motorcycle, and food.

Despite pleading for his life, Bright was killed, and he never got to experience the joy of his wedding.
