Renowned American rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z has strongly denied allegations accusing him of raping a 13-year-old girl, dismissing them as false and part of a calculated blackmail attempt.

In a public statement, Jay-Z disclosed that his lawyer had received a “demand letter” from attorney Tony Buzbee, allegedly seeking to extort him with baseless accusations.

The rapper described the allegations as a fabricated attempt to tarnish his reputation and extort money.

“These allegations are so severe that they warrant a criminal investigation, not a civil complaint,” Jay-Z stated, emphasising his refusal to settle the matter financially. He challenged the accuser to file a criminal complaint if their claims were legitimate, stressing that anyone guilty of such a crime deserves imprisonment.

Jay-Z further expressed his commitment to fighting the allegations and exposing the extortion attempt, asserting that the truth would prevail.

As of now, the case has not resulted in any criminal charges, and the claims remain unverified. The development has sparked significant public interest, highlighting the complex interplay between high-profile figures and legal controversies.
