Think Tank leader Ken Msonda has called on individuals who blamed President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for the Chikangawa plane crash to issue a public apology.
Speaking to the press, Msonda expressed disappointment over the criticism and derogatory remarks directed at the President during the tragedy. He emphasized that a special investigation committee has now cleared the President of any involvement in the incident.
“It is disheartening that some people rushed to tarnish the President’s image without evidence. Now that the investigation has revealed no link to him, these individuals owe him an apology,” Msonda stated.
He also praised President Chakwera for uniting Malawians during the challenging period following the crash, highlighting his exemplary leadership.
The Chikangawa plane crash, which claimed several lives, has sparked widespread debate and scrutiny, but Msonda believes the focus should now shift to healing and progress.
