Over 2.5 Million People Register for Next Year’s Election in Third Phase

The Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) has said said that a total of 2,515,315 people have registered in the third phase of next year’s election registration.
According to the commission, of these people, 1,097, 551 are men and 1,417,764 are women.
The third part of the registration exercise was conducted in the councils of Mbelwa, Lilongwe, Lilongwe City, Mangochi, Mangochi Municipality, Mwanza, Chikwawa and Nsanje.
