A South African man, Sbusiso Lawrence, has caused widespread outrage after killing his ex-girlfriend, Nontobeko Cele, and posting a photo of her lifeless body covered in stab wounds on Facebook.
In a chilling video, Lawrence filmed himself with blood on his face, confessing to the murder. The disturbing content went viral late on Tuesday night, December 17, 2024.
The tragic incident reportedly took place in Durban on the same day.
The photo shared by Lawrence shows Cele lying on her back, with visible stab wounds on her neck, and her clothing soaked in blood.
In his confession, Lawrence appeared to justify the brutal act, claiming that the woman had deceived him by getting pregnant with another man’s child while they were still together. He said he had accepted the child as his own and supported them, but the relationship ended when Cele left him.
