Station Traffic Officer for Lingadzi Police Station, Superintendent Samuel Phiri, has called on motorcycle operators and all road users to prioritize road safety at all times.

Speaking on Thursday, December 19, 2024, during a funeral ceremony in Kauma for two motorcycle operators who tragically died on the spot in a road accident, Phiri emphasized the need for responsible driving practices.

Deputy Public Relations Officer for Lingadzi Police Station, Constable Maria Kumwenda, shared that Phiri addressed the large gathering, which included Traditional Leaders, motorcycle operators, business personnel, and local residents.

He underscored that the loss of the two operators is a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to road safety guidelines to prevent future tragedies.
