A Zambian man from Mazabuka has declined his wife Maggie’s request for divorce despite their marital struggles, including her claim of his inability to satisfy her sexually.

The couple, married for 27 years with five children, faced issues such as lack of provision, late-night behavior, and extramarital affairs.
Maggie told the court she manages household expenses through part-time work and accused her husband of playing loud music late at night.

Acknowledging his medical challenges, the husband revealed he sought herbal treatment to address his condition but faced continued dissatisfaction from his wife, which strained their relationship further.

The court encouraged the couple to reconcile, advising them to address each other’s needs and prioritize intimacy. Both agreed to work on their marriage, with Maggie requesting a year to see improvements
