A 31-year-old student at Africa Bible College (ABC), Gift Chimsomba committed suicide by hanging himself.

Police spokesperson in Nsanje district Agnes Zalakoma said Chimsomba did this on Wednesday when he went to his village in Bangula in the district.

According to the police, Chimsomba was found hanging from the ceiling of the house on this day and relatives who saw this informed Nkandala and the police about the matter.

After the police and doctors examined the man’s body, they said he died of suffocation caused by lifting himself up.
