Information reaching this publication reveals that the police in Limbe have arrested three Malawians and two Rwandans in connection with the assault of an 18-year-old boy.

The teenager, employed at a local shop owned by a Rwandan citizen, was accused of stealing goods after some items went missing.

According to Limbe police spokesperson, Mr. Aubrey Singanyama, the shopkeeper allegedly ordered her children and three workers to beat the boy. The victim sustained injuries and reported the incident to the authorities, leading to the arrest of the suspects.

The police are continuing their investigation, and the suspects are expected to face charges related to the assault.
