Well-known business lady from Bangwe Township in Blantyre identified as Jeany Chimwerer has walked away with a gas cooker in Let’s Go! Tiyeni ku FINCA savings Promotion.

This was revealed today during the final draw of the promotion which started from September 23, 2024 and the promotion was for three months.

The promotion aimed at encouraging FINCA customers to develop a saving culture amid economic challenges in the country.

Speaking after the draw which saw other 13 customers walking away with various prizes such as shopping vouchers, Heaters and FINCA branded materials, Marketing Manager for FINCA Malawi, Takodwa Chirwa said she was happy that the promotion has achieved its intended purpose.

“As FINCA we are very happy that now our customers both new and existing ones understand the importance of saving and this has been noticed by the overwhelming response that we received in the course of the promotion where over 3,000 customers participated in the promotion,” said Chirwa.

Chirwa then promised customer of more exciting things in the 2025.

“We have more exciting initiatives in the year 2025. In 2024, we introduced a number life impacting products such as the education finance – FINCA EduSMart and Clean Energy Loans.

“As the new academic season opens, we encourage our customers not to stress. We have a solution to the problem. Our education loan is fast and easily accessible from any of our branches and our online platforms. We look forward to offering a huge support to ou customers and help them achieve their goals,” added Chirwa.

FINCA Malawi has been promoting its savings products and services since obtaining a Deposit-Taking license in 2015.

The institution offers a range of savings accounts, including fixed deposits and ordinary savings, with competitive interest rates and flexible savings options.
