As one way of encouraging more customers to apply for the MK1 billion FINCA Malawi EduSmart loan which was launched in September last year, the company has spiced up the loan with a promotion which will see three lucky customers walking away with MK100,000 shopping vouchers every month.
FINCA Malawi Marketing Manager Takondwa Chirwa revealed this in Blantyre today during the launch of the FINCA EduSmart promotion which will run from January 10 to February 28, 2025.
According to Chirwa, any customer or School institution which will apply for the said loan from today to February 28, 2025 will automatically qualify for the promotion.
“Customers that will apply for this loan between today 10th January to 28th February 2024, will stand a chance to win MK100,000 vouchers for 3 people every month, MK300,000, for fees for 1 person every month and MK500,000 for a school in the last month,” said Chirwa.
Chirwa then urged FINCA customers both new and existing ones to apply for the said loan.
“The loan is available to all our customer segments. Parents that are employed can access the loan as payroll loans and those in business can access either in groups or as individuals. We also looking out for customers that are working and pursuing higher education, this product also offers a solution to them. Further, this product is also supporting customers that are running education institutions at any level, they own schools or colleges.
“We understand the challenges they face to maintain the standards. This loan will help them to advance their school facilities, for instance, building modern classes, hostels, buying beds, mattresses, building labs and many more. This year, we plan to support over 300 schools in the whole country,” said Chirwa.
FINCA EduSmart loan is targeting education institutions by covering operation expenses, improving infrastructures, and purchasing assets such as desks, school buses, and technology equipment.
The loan is also open to Parents with children at any level of education and employed students who wish to further their studies are also eligible for this loan.
