Man Hangs Himself Following Marital Dispute in Mulanje

A 42 YEAR-OLD MAN from Chitsulo Village under Traditional Authority Mabuka in Mulanje, has reportedly taken his own life by hanging himself in his house.
Mulanje Police Deputy Spokesperson, Hawa Juma, confirmed the incident and identified the deceased as Maxwell Selemani.
According to Juma, Selemani’s wife, Dorothy Livari, alerted authorities on Thursday evening after finding her husband hanging from the roof.
According to Juma, the couple had been experiencing marital issues. Dorothy sought help from Misanjo Police earlier but was unable to locate her husband until the tragic incident occurred.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
