All is set for the launch of national repentance Malawi prayer programs for the year 2025.

The national coordinator for the religious grouping Reverend Dr Edward Mikwamba disclosed this during an interview.

Mikwamba stated that the event will take place on the 15th January at Namiteme Ecom center in Khonjeni, Thyolo district.

“We will take advantage of the occasion to pray for good rains in the country as Malawi is an agricultural based economy.” Said Mikwamba.

“We will also pray for peace and stability in neighboring Mocambique, as there is misunderstanding over the outcome of the elections, which has led to deaths and destruction of property.”

According to Reverend Dr Mikwamba, 49 nations under repentance will join over 7000 intercessors in prayers on the day.

The theme for this year is ” healing and restoration for Malawi ( 2 chronicles 7:14).
