The Vice President, Dr Micheal Usi has left the country for Mozambique to represent President Dr Lazarus Chakwera at the inauguration of Daniel Chapo, President elect of the republic of Mozambique on Wednesday.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs says the visit is at the invitation of outgoing president Dr Filipe Nyusi.
“This is an opportunity for deepening the cordial relations between the two countries”. Says the statement.
The Vice President will return on Thursday, 16 January, 2025.
