29-Year-Old Man Arrested in Thyolo for Suspected Cannabis Possession

A 29-year-old man Steven Viyeka is in the cooler at Masambanjati police in Thyolo on suspicion that he was found in possession of suspected Indian hemp.
The station’ publicist, Amos Banda, said that the police acted on a tip off that he was transporting a bag of Cannabis on his motorcycle heading to Thekerani Trading Centre.
He comes from Mwitele Village Traditional Authority Nanseta in the district.
Meanwhile, Police have taken the cannabis to Bvumbwe Research Station for examination.
