Lightning Strike Kills Man In Ntchisi

Lightning has killed 25-year-old Boniface Ofesi, who hails from Chiwankhuku village in Malenga chiefdom in Ntchisi district.
Ntchisi police spokesperson Salome Zgambo has confirmed the accident and said the accident happened today around 10 am on the road from Kaphatiye to Malomo in the district where the deceased went to farm.
Mr. Zgambo said the police from Ntchisi along with the medical personnel rushed to the scene where the medical personnel found that the deceased had died due to lightning.
Ofesi will be laid to rest soon.
