Chakwera Names Mining Expert Professor Kalindekafe to Head New Malawi Mining Investment Company

President Lazarus Chakwera has appointed mining expert Professor Leonard Kalindekafe to head the newly established Malawi Mining Investment Company (MAMICO).
The President made the announcement in a message released last evening.
This company, which operates under the Malawi Development Corporation, has been created to help the country fully capitalize on its mining activities, particularly with precious stones such as rutile, gold, and uranium.
