The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) has today unveiled Former FCB Nyasa Big Bullets Coach Kalisto Pasuwa as the new Malawi Men’s Senior National Team Head Coach.
The Zimbabwean will be in charge of the Flames for two years after Delivering good performances and trophies in the past 5 years for the peoples team.
Pasuwa’s appointment as Malawi’s Flames head coach hanged in the balance after the Sports Council questioned his selection process.
Sports Council asked the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) to explain how they arrived at the decision to offer Pasuwa a contract.
Earlier today, it was announced that Sports Council has cleared FAM on appointment of Pasuwa.
His immediate assignment will be to lead the Flames in the African Nations Championship (Chan) qualifiers this month.
