A two-year marriage ended in divorce over a dispute about the wife refusing to take her husband’s surname.

Facebook user Iyke Orji shared that the husband asked her to update her social media, bank details, and official documents, but she declined, citing concerns over her identity and professional ties to her maiden name.

After two years of disagreements, the couple couldn’t reach a compromise, and the divorce was finalized just days before Orji’s post.
