The case involving former Reserve Bank of Malawi Governor Dalitso Kabambe, his deputy Henry Mathanga, businessman Leston Mulli and others, who are are facing charges of conspiracy to use public office for personal advantage, did not commence with plea taking today.
According to Dzikondianthu Malunda, Director of Criminal Litigation, the case failed because Kabambe and his lawyer were not aware of the date of hearing while other documents were unclear hence both sides agreed to adjourn the case.
