The Malawi Bureau of Standards (MBS) has closed the Roob Enterprise store at Bwalo la Njobvu in Lilongwe. The store sells a variety of goods.

MBS media spokesperson Monica Khombe stated that the store does not follow proper procedures for the storage of goods. Among other issues, food was found stored on the floor and placed alongside products such as shaving cream, lotion, and other non-food items.

The organization has stated that it will revisit the store after the problems are addressed and has ordered it not to sell anything until the necessary improvements are made.
