Renowned Malawian artist Francis Chris Phiri, popularly known as Lawi, has teamed up with Lilongwe’s Wow Baby Temwa on a new track titled “Makolo Ndi.”

According to Lawi, the song will be released tomorrow morning, on 25 February 2025, at 8:00 AM, both audio and video.

A snippet shared on Lawi’s official Facebook page reveals that the song carries a strong message about respecting and obeying parents and guardians.

“Eee Makolo ndi khomo la kumoyo, lolowera dziko-li anunu eeya… Makolo ndi nkhata pamutu, inyamula dziko, iteteza dziko,” sings Lawi, blending rich Malawian culture and morals into the melody.

With Temwa’s angelic voice and vocalz, the song is expected to be everyone’s favorite, celebrating traditional values through music.

Lawi and Temwa previously collaborated on Namadingo’s hit song “Mapemphero” alongside Gwamba, which has gained over 3 million views in just eight months.
