Veteran musician Giddes Chalamanda, popularly known as Agide, is reported to be in stable health a day after being hospitalized at Chiradzulu District Hospital.

His son, Chris Chalamanda, confirmed that the 95-year-old legend has been struggling with stroke and a lung infection.

Agide, who remained active in music until 2024, is celebrated for hits like “Linny ho.”

Meanwhile, hospital authorities have yet to provide an official update on his condition.
