MDF Soldiers Deployed to Parliament After Vendors Protest

Information reaching this publication indicates that the Malawi Defence Force (MDF) soldiers have arrived at parliament building where they have come to add security following vendors demonstrations.

This follows incident whereby the the protestors started pelting stones on government ministers who were addressing them at the parliament building.

So far, one policewoman has been injured and has been rushed to the hospital for medical assistance.
