President Lazarus Chakwera has reshuffled his cabinet, appointing Vitumbiko Mumba as the new Minister of Trade and Industry.
Chakwera made the announcement today in Parliament while defending his State of the Nation Address (SONA) and responding to questions from various Members of Parliament.
Mumba previously served as the Minister of Labour, where he earned praise across party lines for his efforts in ensuring fair working conditions and improved workplace hygiene.
However, the President did not provide any details regarding Sosten Gwengwe, who previously held the Trade and Industry.
