University suspends lecturer for impregnating four female students

A lecturer at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Mr. Chigozie Odum, has been suspended after an investigation confirmed he was responsible for the pregnancies of four female students over four years.
The allegations first surfaced in 2019/2020, accusing Odum of impregnating multiple students since his appointment as a lecturer. Following years of investigation, the university has now officially suspended him with immediate effect.
The suspension letter was signed by the Deputy Registrar, Mrs. Achiwua F. C., reinforcing the institution’s stance on maintaining academic integrity and ethical conduct.
