Two people have died in a road accident in Phalombe, while several others have been taken to Rev. John Chilembwe Hospital for treatment.

Phalombe District Health Office spokesperson, Daniel Chilomo, confirmed the incident, stating that the accident occurred in the Chiringa area.

Police have yet to provide further details on the incident.
