21 Arrested in Lilongwe for Robbery, Theft, and Drug Possession

Kanengo Police in Lilongwe have arrested 21 people for their alleged involvement in a series of crimes in the area.
Police spokesperson Gresham Ngwira said the arrests, which include Roderick Mbewe, Gift Phiri, John Gerald, Felix Matola, and Ajibu Mdala, followed a wave of robberies and thefts involving stolen property.
Ngwira confirmed that recovered items included a video camera, mobile phones, and computers.
“The suspects will appear in court soon to face charges, including theft, receiving stolen property, and possession of marijuana without a license,” he said.
