Ras Chikomeni Vows to Win 90% of Votes and Release Marijuana Prisoners

Ras David Chikomeni Chirwa, an independent presidential candidate, has confidently stated that he will secure a 90% +1 victory in the upcoming September 16 elections.

Chikomeni has made the remarks today on 11 March 2025 at Lizulu Market in Lilongwe.

Ras Chikomeni emphasized that he enjoys strong support from the people, and the only challenge he faces is finding enough time to meet with all his supporters.

He also promised that, if elected, he would release all individuals imprisoned for marijuana-related offenses, stating that it is time for the country to adopt more progressive policies.

As part of his ongoing campaign, Ras Chikomeni is raising funds to support his efforts, and he aims to gather K10 million. He expressed that if the target amount is not reached, he will travel to all districts until the necessary funds are collected.

Upon his visit to Lizulu Market, he was warmly received by vendors, who greeted him with music and enthusiasm.
