Teargas Fired In Mzuzu As Unknown People Stage Protests

Police in Mzuzu have fired teargas to unknown group of people who staged protests this in the morning.
Currently, shops and business in Mzuzu is halted following the incident and police are everywhere.
Speaking on the matter, Northern Region Commissioner of Police, Richard Luhanga, has assured that a significant number of officers have been deployed to maintain order in Mzuzu City streets.
He emphasized that tear gas is being used to clear the town and prevent looters from vandalizing shops.
