Zomba Vendors Submit Grievances Over High Prices of Goods to the DC

Protesting vendors in Zomba have submitted their letter to District Commissioner Reigngard Chavula.
The letter was handed over by the chairman of the traders, Ayatu Chidothi.
The protest began at Zomba Community Ground, where vendors were joined by Zomba Central Member of Parliament Bester Awali and activist Bon Kalindo.
A large number of vendors participated in the demonstration, which remained peaceful in Malawi’s old capital.
The vendors hope the government will address their concerns regarding the rising prices of various goods they trade.
