Dan Lu Arrested for Alleged Attack on Water Board Staff

Police in Lingadzi, Lilongwe, last evening arrested popular musician Dan Lu, whose real name is Dan Lufani, on suspicion of assaulting a Water Board worker.
According to Deputy Police Spokesperson Maria Kumwenda, the incident occurred when Water Board employees attempted to disconnect the water supply to Dan Lu’s house in Area 49. The musician allegedly attacked and injured one of the workers, a woman, during the confrontation.
Kumwenda stated that the case is under investigation and, if properly processed, Dan Lu will appear in court to answer charges of assault and causing injury.
