Dowa Primary School Teacher Hangs Himself For Unknown Reasons

A primary school teacher in Dowa, identified as Emmanuel Chapananga, 49, has died by suicide after hanging himself in a colleague’s house.
According to Dowa Police spokesperson Macpatson Msadala, Chapananga had been visiting his fellow teacher when the two went out drinking on the night of March 6 to 7.
Reports indicate that Chapananga started acting strangely and even sold all his belongings that he had taken with him.
On Monday, when his colleague returned home from work, he was shocked to find Chapananga had taken his own life in one of the rooms.
The reason behind the incident remains unknown.
