Malawian female songstress Emmie Deeebo has shared the inspiration behind the title of her upcoming album, “First Born.”

The artist made a Facebook post yesterday and and, she explained, “Firstborns are born to lead to pave the way, overcome challenges, and take the hits so those who follow can rise. I am the epitome of greatness, the benchmark of excellence. Superstars are measured against me for elevation. I’m breaking barriers, rewriting the rules, and setting the stage on fire.”

Emmie Deeebo emphasized that her album symbolizes her trailblazing journey as a female artist in Malawi, declaring, “Who ever thought female artists in Malawi could compete at this level? You’re witnessing history in the making. Welcome to the DEEBO REVOLUTION.”Posted Emmie.

So far, Emmie has released two songs from the album: “Mtima” and the recently released “Akumbutseni,” which is already making waves across the country.
