Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Vice President for the Central Region, Alfred Gangata, has arrived at the Area 3 Court in Lilongwe for his bail hearing.

Yesterday, the court denied him bail as he faces accusations of using a fake MSCE certificate.

According to the police, Gangata never studied at Chitowo School in Dedza, where he claims to have earned the certificate.

Meanwhile, other DPP officials, including Norman Chisale, Daud Chikwanje, and Levie Luwemba, have also arrived at the Area 3 Court.
