Malawian singer Emmie Deebo has officially announced the title and release schedule for her upcoming album, First Born.

The album, which features collaborations with Sean Morgan, Gemini Major, Zeze Kingston, as well as Zambian artists Prince Luv and Mordecai, will be released in full this June. However, Deebo plans to drop a new single every month leading up to the full album release.

So far, she has released “Mtima” in February and “Akumbutseni” in March, both of which have been well received.

Her record label, Akometsi  has therefore made a post on its official Facebook page congratulate her, stating:
“Congratulations and all the best, Emmie. Keep working hard and focusing on what is in front of you. Many will try to discourage you, but keep moving forward.”

With First Born, Emmie Deebo is determined to make a mark on the Malawian and regional music scene.
