The Malawi national football team, the Flames, has departed for Tunisia ahead of their crucial World Cup qualifying match scheduled for Monday.

However, the team will be without two key players, Gabadinho Mhango and Charles Petro, who sustained injuries during yesterday’s match against Namibia at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe. The Flames lost that game 1-0, further extending their struggles in the qualifiers.

With no wins recorded so far in their World Cup qualification campaign, Malawi faces a tough challenge against Tunisia.

Despite the setbacks, the team remains hopeful of securing a positive result in their upcoming match.
