The trial of Norman Chisale has commenced at the High Court Financial Crimes Division in Lilongwe. The state is parading its first witness out of a possible thirty who are expected to appear before the court.

Chisale, who was a public servant for a number of years, is being accused of obtaining unexplained wealth.

Court proceedings are expected to continue tomorrow morning with the state being expected to parade its second witness.
