4 Cattle Rustlers Arrested In Chikwawa

Police in Chikwawa have arrested four men suspected of stealing six cattle worth K5.5 million from a farmer.

According to Chikwawa Police spokesperson Dickson Matemba, the crime occurred in Nzama Village under Senior Chief Ngabu in the district.

The suspects were apprehended at a police checkpoint in Thabwa while transporting the stolen cattle to Blantyre.

“The suspects have been identified as Fombe Allan, Hannock George, and David Ndafakale from Senior Chief Ngabu, as well as Enerst Jiya from Senior Chief Chikumbu in Mulanje,” said Matemba.

Police have since launched further investigations into the case.
