Former Director General of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), Martha Chizuma, has secured a new position at the World Bank in Washington, D.C.
The announcement was made through a Facebook post by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Lilongwe, which revealed that Ambassador Ingrid Marie Mikelsen hosted a farewell luncheon for Chizuma earlier this week to honor her service and upcoming role.
The embassy’s post read: “We appreciate her unwavering commitment to the fight against corruption in Malawi and wish her every success in her new role at the World Bank in Washington.”
Chizuma’s move to the World Bank marks a significant career shift after her impactful tenure at the ACB, where she was known for her dedication to fighting corruption in Malawi.
