Police in Chikwawa have arrested two men suspected of breaking into a house and stealing items at Kasinthula.
Chikwawa Police spokesperson, Sergeant Dickson Matemba, has identified the suspects as 38-year-old Hawesi Isaac and 30-year-old Chifundo Pattason Moffat.
According to Matemba, the suspects allegedly broke into a man’s house and stole a laptop, a lamp, a tablet, food warmers, and other items valued at 4.3 million kwacha.
After receiving a complaint from the victim, police conducted investigations, leading to the arrest of the two suspects.
Sergeant Matemba stated that the suspects will appear in court to answer charges related to housebreaking and theft.
