Renowned Malawian artist Onesimus, also known as African Butter, has expressed his desire to use his musical talent to reach out to the less privileged.
The award-winning musician made this declaration on Monday after partnering with the Mai Mbambande organization to provide food to the people of Ntaya in Lilongwe.
During the visit, Onesimus had the opportunity to interact with the elderly, sharing moments of joy through singing and dancing at the Mai Mbambande event.
“I felt so happy spending time with the people of Ntaya and sharing a meal with them. My musical talent is there, and I want to use it to support those in need,” said Onesimus.
He emphasized that he is committed to focusing on charitable work throughout this year. Reflecting on the experience, Onesimus said that singing and dancing with the elderly was fulfilling and brought him blessings.
With this new vision, Onesimus aims to continue using his art to make a positive impact in communities.
