Man Jailed For Chewing Step-Daughter in Dowa

Mkukula First Grade Magistrate Court in Dowa, presided over by Magistrate Mervis Sulumba, sentenced a 30-year-old man to 14 years in prison with hard labor for defiling his 12-year-old biological daughter.
Reports indicate that the man committed the crime after allegedly following advice from a herbalist, who claimed that defiling his daughter would make him prosperous.
The court dismissed this defense, emphasizing the severity of the crime and the need to protect children from such abuses.
