Temwah Encourages Aspiring Female Artists Amid Social Media Storm

Malawian beloved female musician Temwah Gondwe popularly known as Temwah has encouraged young female artist who are aspiring to venture into serious music to be courageous enough.

Temwah took to her Facebook page today on 8 April 2025 after being cooked by Netzens earlier this week about her her stage outfit  saying she was exposing her underwear when performing at the From The Ashes music show last weekend in Lilongwe.

In a Facebook post today, Temwah addressed the criticism without directly mentioning the incident:

“To all young women pursuing music or any artistic career – stay focused on your craft, vision and purpose. People will always talk, but that noise doesn’t create hits or build legacies,” she wrote.

The singer advised upcoming artists to protect their creativity, surround themselves with positive energy, and remain true to themselves. She concluded with an inspirational quote: “A flower doesn’t think of competing with the flower next to it. It just blooms.”

Fans have flooded her post with supportive comments, praising her for turning negativity into motivation.
