Four Political Parties Form Alliance Ahead of 2025 Elections

The People’s Party (PP), Freedom Party, People’s Development Party (PDP), and MAFUNDE have agreed to enter into a political and electoral partnership ahead of the upcoming elections.
According to PP Secretary General Ben Chakhame, discussions on who will lead the alliance will be handled by the presidents of the respective parties.
Chakhame emphasized that the alliance aims to provide Malawians with a strong and united alternative, and further details about the leadership and roadmap will be announced in due course.
