Tay Grin to Host Free Youth Concert in Lilongwe to Show Appreciation

Renowned Malawian artist Tay Grin is set to host a free music concert called the “level up Free Youth Concert” this Saturday on 12 April 2025 at Masintha Ground in Lilongwe.
Speaking during a press briefing in the capital today, the musician affectionately known as the ‘Nyau King’ said the event is his way of thanking young people for the overwhelming support they showed him during the ‘From The Ashes’ show, which was organized to help raise funds after his house caught fire.
In an exciting twist, Tay Grin has joined forces with motorcycle company Roadster, which will be giving away a motorcycle to one lucky fan during the event.
Beyond music and giveaways, the concert will also focus on youth wellbeing, with mental health and wellness services set to be offered on site.
Roadster’s Head of Business, Lalit Rohilla, emphasized that their involvement in the concert is part of a broader initiative to connect with potential clients and engage with the youth community.
